Nina Das Gupta from BBC Hereford and Worcester Radio called in at Norchard to tell the listeners about our pumpkin operation. While she was here Anna helped her to carve one of our Monster pumpkins. Norchard Farm is mostly pumpkin orange right now. The fields and yard are full of Monsters, Carvers, Mediums, Cooking Pumpkins, Munchkins and Mixed Squash. Hopefully we can swap the sales around to make sure the crop is not wasted - we don't want too many left on November 1st!

Ellie Jearum (nee Southall) brought her friends up from Surrey for a farm and pack house tour. They were a great help in forming a tasting panel for our Mixed Squash varieties. We loved the differing tastes, textures and flesh colours of the squashes. We will work out some tasty recipes to match with the squash and the best beverages to wash them down with......
