Exciting to find this Metalampra italica moth amongst the catch this morning. It is possibly the first county record for the species for Worcestershire, although it has been recorded in neighbouring counties.

Great to see this Pyramidal Orchid appear on the farm after an absence of 12 years. According to irecord it could be the only record from our 10 kilometre square.

Southern Marsh Orchids

The Southern Marsh Orchids are now all flowering and have increased in numbers to over a hundred. The Common Spotted Orchids are just coming into flower now. At least two Burnet Companion moths were present at the same location. They are a local moth in Worcestershire.
